2. Time to Dust Off That Blazer!
Thursday in the Spring Style System group, we styled a blazer — even for a very casual day.
One of the things I coach Style System members to do is to wear their clothes in new and different ways, instead of pigeon-holing them. So if you think of blazers as a work-only, dressed-up, or stuffy piece…think again!
I made this reel showing this affordable, fully-lined blazer I found that comes in a slew of great colors. It needs to be steamed (here’s my steamer I love) but is great quality, at a great price, and good for spring and summer..actually all year ‘round!
The reel is dorky, not very slick or fancy…but it’s done. And you get the message, right?
Plus, as they say…DONE is better than PERFECT. And btw, this applies to #justgetdressed too, ok?
Blazer – TTS, I’m in a small…lots of colors, fully lined.
Steamer (it needed it, but took 1-2 minutes)
White Stretch Button-Up Shirt (machine wash – no iron, no wrinkle!)
GORGEOUS gold chain necklace. Very lux-looking, but very affordable.
Leopard Mules (Mine are old Madewell, these are similar)
Mother Jeans (pricey – I got mine for less on Poshmark)
3. How’s your Summer Prep Going?
