Weekend Update 6/25/23

Hello and welcome to the Weekend Update!

Here are some of the things that went on this week. And if you aren’t already, be sure to follow me on Instagram @b.styled, Facebook, and in the free, private #justgetdressed VIP’s Facebook Group.

And don’t forget to grab the newly released SUMMER STYLE SYSTEM….see below for more info on this!

1. Tipsy Tuesday: 3 Summer Dressing Tips for When it’s HOT

 2. My Current Skincare Routine

Each June I reevaluate and adjust my skincare routine slightly…. Here is an updated post showing the current products I use and people I follow for advice.

Also, a favorite brand, Beautycounter is currently 20% off – a rarity, and a good time to stock up. My favorite skincare product is their overnight resurfacing serum (shown below in the new packaging).

I also exclusively wear their lippies. I get the Sheer Genius in Rose Vibrant Pink this time of year, and the Plum in the cooler months. It’s very moisturizing and with a sheer finish.  I also have this new formula, the Statement Maker satin lipstick for more full coverage for night-time or when I get dressed up. I get the Savvy Neutral Berry in that one. And finally (I love lip products) I also love the Beyond Glass when I want some shine and wear it alone or over one of the lipsticks. I have raspberry and dahlia.  And finally, I’m a fan of their cream blush and cream eyeshadows.

Let me know if you want some help choosing Beautycounter products and colors – – I’m always happy to help!

3. Daily Summer Outfit Prompts and Style Coaching Open NOW

The Summer Style System is now available, with outfit prompts going out each evening….so you can #justgetdressed – all season long! Get dressed tomorrow morning right from your closet in a stylish yet easy-to-create look.

I know you may be saying — “Beth, it’s summer, I don’t need this.” True, maybe you don’t need it, but I can guarantee you that having the daily jumping-off point to an outfit will make it a no-brainer to get dressed each day. You’ll wear more of what you own, be less tempted to impulse shop, and get lots of invaluable tips and advice.

And the info ranges beyond style questions to other health and beauty topics specific to women over 45 – and so much more.

You can choose to just get the information – outfit prompts and style tips – and use them to get dressed…You can “lurk” in the group and just read, watch, and learn, or you can choose to get more involved in the group. It’s entirely up to you and how you wish to use the program.  Any questions about it? I’m always here to help. Just drop me a note!

You have nothing to lose with my no-questions-asked 7-day money-back guarantee.

Here are a couple examples of Outfit Prompt in action from the past couple of days, using some formulas from the Spring Style System. You can see how I used the prompts for inspiration without needing to “copy” them. For example, the look on the left could have used any color top that you have in your closet.

The pics on the right are screenshots from the  app members have in addition to the daily emails the receive (which includes all the the links — but shopping your closet is the goal).

4. Podcast Recommendation: The Science of Cravings

I was fascinated by this podcast and love how Dr. Amy explains complex medical information in a way that I can totally understand (science was NOT my thing;)

The episode digs into cravings: why we have them, how to tell the difference between a craving and actual hunger, and how to eat our way to better health and a happier life. It’s long…but I was captivated throughout…Take a listen on your next long walk or drive, and let me know what you think!

That’s it for today! Thanks for being here and I hope you found some value in these tips.  I love hearing from and interacting with you, so feel free to reach out to me via email or in the Style System group where I am happy to answer questions and give advice!

Now, if you haven’t already, go #justgetdressed and have a great day!

xo, Beth
